Wait




Mother swashes across the tables. Smiles and caresses all around. Today she is happy. We care she does not take more than she should. Father crosses his arms. We scatter around the garden. Under the trees lies our sister. Her eyes moon, her body cowers. In silence we retrieve the accosted limbs.
The black car waits.
